A blustery wind favoured one end for the whole game and was a good learning experience of playing in a breeze. If possible, it’s best to take advantage of the breeze when it’s going your way. It was good that the rain held off for our game. We got great umpiring again this week, thanks Ump. Tigers: we should listen for the umpire’s whistle and stop when we hear it blow! The umpire is there to teach us the rules and we need to stop & listen when the whistle blows. I was really pleased with our use of the ball when we got it; but we’re relying on kicking alone and not handballing to team mates. Our greatest moments are when we play as a champion team, not just as individual champions. Practice kicking, lots of handballing & picking up the ball cleanly! When the ball is right in front of you; make sure you are first to get it! Remember: what is this game called? What do we do with the ball next? Only after then, do we go for goals. Keep having fun and we can grow together! Go Tigers!
